www.bacchus is a glance at the inconsistent web world.
There is nothing certain there and nothing is what it looks like.
The main inspiration is the painting Bacchus by Italian Baroque master Michelangelo Merisi da Caravaggio.
Internet is a place where the archaically old could meet with the present new. The interaction between those two things could be in harmony , but also a clash of two different concepts.
www.bacchus represents the invasion of the funny icons, which symbolizing the tricky web space, into one of the finest pieces of art. This is an indication of the aggressive world we live in, with all the viruses, adverts and propaganda we are surrounded.
The missing head of the original Bacchus is taken and appearing from the bottom of the picture, turned into a funny yellow face. The other emoticons are drunk and trying to get in and be part of the Caravaggio's masterpiece.
